I will support you as you navigate the complexities of life while empowering the change you want to become. I have extensive experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to serious mental health and substance abuse disorders, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, and trauma. Depending on your needs, I will support you with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, treatment modalities, and/or other evidence-based practices. Hello! My name is Iyana. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. I received my M.Ed in School Counseling from Bowie State University. I have experience providing school and community based therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults, helping them navigate issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, academics, peer conflict, relationships, and self-esteem.
