Many people come seeking answers—not because they want a label, but because they want to better understand themselves in a world that has often tried to define them before they had the opportunity to define themselves.As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them better understand how they think, feel, and experience the world. I was born and raised in Southern California and currently live in San Diego. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in college counseling centers, community mental health, private practice, a federal prison, and clinical research. Each setting has reinforced the same lesson: every person's story is unique and deserves to be understood with curiosity, compassion, and respect.My approach to assessment goes beyond simply determining whether someone meets diagnostic criteria. I take the time to understand your developmental history, your strengths, your challenges, and the experiences that have shaped who you are.
