Hi! Thank you for considering working with me. I am a counseling psychologist based in Charlotte, NC and have been in practice for eight years. My experiences include group practices and university counseling centers, and my clinical areas of emphasis are identity, relationships, DEIB, and grief/loss. To quote Buffy Summers, "The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Be brave. Live." This quote has informed my approach to therapy (and life). I work with my clients to help them better understand how their individuality, relationships, and society intersect to inform their life. I use Relational-Cultural Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to frame my work with clients and help them develop skills to live a growth-fostering life.

Hello! My name is Lisa and I am dedicated to supporting people who have been told they need to try harder to fit in simply because they are not like everyone else. If you are exhausted from trying to confirm to the expectations of others, but still crave a sense of belonging, I would be honored to help you sort that all out with warm affirming care. It is meaningful to me to support you to live an authentic life!

Hi! My name is Laura (they/she) and I am an aggressively accepting queer Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the Charlotte, NC area. I am passionate about supporting humans on their journey to healing and growth. I create and hold safe and brave spaces to explore, process, and make meaning out of your experiences. My ultimate goal is to guide and support you while you discover your most authentic and regulated self, regardless of what that looks like for you.

I am so glad you are here! My name is Kelly Scherger. I currently live in North Carolina, and am licensed in North Carolina and am able to see clients in participating PsyPact states. I am passionate about helping individuals live their best lives. I believe in collaboratively establishing goals and working together to help individuals live in a way that is consistent with their personal values. As a clinician, it is important to me to create a safe and welcoming space for all. I look forward to working with you!

Hi there! My name is Dr. Amar Saxena (he/they). I am a clinical psychologist licensed in North Carolina and proudly call the Triangle area of NC home. I am also a member of PSYPACT, which allows me to provide virtual services in 40+ states. I have worked with the LGBTQ+ community for most of my clinical career, and have specialized training & a passion for working with trans/gender diverse and BIPOC clients. My goal is for you to feel safe, heard, understood, accepted, and supported as you move through your unique process of healing and growth, especially as you gain increased awareness and understanding of yourself and your (important) place in this world. My clinical work is always deeply informed by social justice, liberation, and feminist frameworks and I continue to work hard to decolonize the theory and practice of psychology. In my time away from work, I enjoy being in nature, tending plants, kayaking, chasing my sweet old man cat, travel, stargazing, and spending time with my partner and vibrant queer community.
