Our team of therapists and psychologists has extensive experience working with autistic adults.

Hi, I'm Latoria. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) based in South Carolina, where I have the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life's challenges.
I've always been drawn to helping people make sense of their experiences and recognize the strengths they already possess. What drives me most as a therapist is creating a space where people feel safe enough to be honest, understood enough to feel less alone, and empowered enough to make meaningful changes in their lives. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, so I work hard to create an environment that is welcoming, authentic, and free of judgment.
My background includes working in school-based mental health and community settings, where I've had the opportunity to help individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that healing isn't about having all the answers—it's about having someone who will walk alongside you, help you build on your strengths, and support you as you move toward the life you want.

My passion is helping people become and maintain the best version of themselves by creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where they feel understood and valued. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are while helping them recognize their strengths, build resilience, and navigate areas of growth. I believe therapy is a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment, and I strive to create a space free of judgment where clients can openly explore their experiences and embrace their authentic selves.

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Asya Penzo-Shumard, and I am a licensed clinical social worker providing virtual therapy to adults in South Carolina and Hawaii. I am passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel safe, understood, and accepted as their authentic selves.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in meeting you where you are. I enjoy supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I believe therapy should feel approachable and empowering, and I strive to help clients build greater self-understanding, confidence, and practical tools for everyday life.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward greater balance, healing, and well-being.

Hello! My name is Samantha, and I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, behavioral concerns, and other personal challenges. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, heard, and accepted, and I strive to create a warm, affirming space where you can explore your experiences without judgment.
I am especially passionate about supporting autistic and neurodivergent individuals, recognizing and celebrating the unique strengths and perspectives that neurodiversity brings. My approach is collaborative and individualized, focusing on your goals, values, and lived experiences rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can work to navigate everyday challenges, strengthen communication and emotional regulation, build practical coping skills, and develop strategies that help you thrive in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to you.
My experience providing mental health services in clinical, correctional, and community settings has allowed me to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Wherever you are in your journey, I am committed to meeting you with empathy, respect, and practical support as we work together toward meaningful growth and lasting well-being.
