Hello and welcome! My name is Michael Farley and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am licensed in North Carolina and I live in Charlotte. I am passionate about my work as a therapist and feel grateful for the opportunity to support individuals on their journey of healing and realizing the life they want. My desire is to provide a collaborative environment where we work together to build on strengths and move toward your personal goals. I want to make sure you feel understood, as well as safe and comfortable in sharing your feelings and perspectives. Each of us has our own story that makes us who we are. I see my job as fully knowing who this unique individual is and how I can helpf them in facing challenges and find a fulfilling life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in North Carolina, dedicated to supporting individuals through their unique journeys of healing and growth. With a background rooted in client-centered therapy, I am passionate about creating a respectful and compassionate space where clients feel truly heard and valued. My approach combines evidence-based modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and somatic practices. Before becoming a therapist, I studied Buddhist psychology and yoga, which enrich my understanding of inner resilience and the capacity for transformative change. I live and work in North Carolina, and I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients as they explore their paths toward greater well-being.

Hi my name is Alisa Valente. I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Wilmington and licensed in the state of North Carolina. I am a strong believer in evidence-based practices and making sure everyone has a safe space to tell their story. I am excited to be a part of the Prosper team helping neurodivergent adults use their unique strengths to adapt and thrive.

Hi! I’m Jamie! I’m autistic and queer and interested in both LGBTQ+ issues and neurodivergent communities. I’m also gender nonconforming and use she/her pronouns. It feels odd to say that in a profile, because many believe that therapists/psychologists should be perfect and have no conditions or problems in order to help others. But I believe that having the experience of grappling with being neurodivergent makes me a more empathetic, compassionate, and effective psychologist. I can relate, because I’ve been there, and am there.I am a psychologist who does assessments for autism through Prosper. You will find people who get it there, and can meet with you where you are.

My name is Jennifer Hinson, and I live in the Lake Tillery area of NC. I am currently practicing as an LCSW for the state of North Carolina, after securing my MSW at Boise State. I began my journey as a social worker for the elderly and disabled, and expanded my scope of practice after learning about the huge gap in mental health services. I practice a person centered approach, and pride myself on building strong rapport and a team work atmosphere within my client sessions. I enjoy implementing a well rounded approach, utilizing your own strengths and helpful practices to build a successful treatment plan for you.
