Together, we will delve into past and present behaviors, thoughts, and relationships, drawing connections that can inspire positive change. I use a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral techniques in my practice. Welcome! I'm so honored to be able to meet and work with you. My name is Dr. Margaret Feerick. I began my professional journey in education deeply appreciating the power of experiences in shaping individuals. That led me to complete my doctorate in developmental psychology with a focus on the role of personal relationships in helping individuals coping with trauma. I soon discovered my passion in working with people rather than studying them, and I completed a clinical psychology respecialization program to pursue clinical practice. Now I apply my training as a developmentalist, researcher, and clinician to help clients understand their own strengths and challenges and to identify evidence-based supports for and with them. I currently live in Maryland, and I am licensed in MD, DC, VA and PSYPACT participating states.
