I am Dr. Kerry Grohman. As a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist licensed and practicing in New York, my career has been devoted to helping people better understand their cognitive strengths and challenges, and what that means for their everyday lives.

I’m a licensed and board-certified psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adults, and families across school, community, hospital, and mental health settings. I provide services in both English and Spanish and am licensed in New York, Connecticut, and Missouri. I also hold PSYPACT authorization, which allows me to provide telepsychology services across many participating states, increasing access to care for clients in different regions.What drives me most as a provider is creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be fully themselves. I value warmth, authenticity, and collaboration, and I strive to help clients feel seen, respected, and understood throughout the evaluation and support process. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and a deep respect for the unique ways people experience and move through the world.

I have extensive experience working with adolescents (12+), adults (individuals & couples), and families, and has provided compassionate and effective care in diverse settings, including hospitals, private practices, and outpatient clinics.My areas of expertise encompass Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Family Issues, Relationships, Identity Issues, Self-Esteem Issues, Life Transitions, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Self-Harm, Learning Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.Though I tailor my approach to each individual's needs, I am trained in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), The Gottman Method, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), to name a few.
