Hello and welcome! I am so glad you are here. I am Dr. Maria Cristina Cintron Laboy, a bicultural and bilingual (English and Spanish) licensed clinical psychologist in the state of New York. I have over 20 years of graduate experience in psychotherapy, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various mental health conditions. As a psychotherapist, I understand how challenging it can be to communicate our needs and concerns at times due to fear of judgment or being misunderstood. That is why for me it is extremely important to focus on providing you with a safe, respectful, and empathetic atmosphere where you feel comfortable and can thrive. I use an integrative approach to treatment, meaning I consider different psychological, emotional, and social factors which allows me to provide you with a client-centered psychotherapy experience that combines techniques from various therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With your active collaboration I will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique individual needs.
