I completed my undergraduate degree at Western University in Ontario, Canada, my masters degree at Imperial College in London, UK, and my doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I completed my postdoctoral training at the Developmental Assessment Clinic at Nova Southeastern University where I specialized in the assessment of individuals suspected of autism and other developmental disorders. I utilize evidenced-based approaches such as CBT, DBT/mindfulness, and person-centered therapy in conjunction with having a non-judgmental and caring perspective.

Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who specializes in working with folks who have a history of trauma. (And in today's world, that includes most of us).  Trauma comes from many sources (sadly sometimes even from those we love).  Unresolved trauma tends to creep into our relationships, how we function in our various roles, even in how we view ourselves in the world. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy. Trauma resolution is a journey worth taking, and I'm always honored to be a part of it with a client.
