I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania, with specialized training and experience in autism assessment and treatment. I’m passionate about making high-quality autism evaluations accessible to all individuals, and I believe an evaluation should be about more than simply identifying a diagnostic label. It should help people better understand their lived experiences and recognize their unique strengths and needs. Most importantly I hope to help identify meaningful supports and a path forward.
Hello there! It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Jody Zhong, and I'm a psychologist licensed in my home state of Pennsylvania. I am also able to see out-of-state clients virtually through PSYPACT. I identify as a second-generation Chinese American immigrant who grew up in a working-class environment. As such, I care deeply about creating safe, affirming spaces for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients, especially those who are reaching out for mental health services for the first time. I know that reaching out for an autism assessment as an adult can come with so many emotions: hope, anxiety, self-doubt, relief, and even frustration or grief that it's taken this long to get answers. I also know that mental health stigma, stereotypes, and other social barriers can stand in the way of getting a proper diagnosis. My goal is to create a comfortable environment for you to share your experiences, to help you make sense of those experiences, and to provide you with next steps for how to move towards a more authentic life.

My experience includes working as a staff psychologist in a state psychiatric hospital before transitioning to private practice, where I have supported individuals through a variety of life challenges.
What drives me as a provider is helping people better understand themselves, recognize and build upon their strengths, and feel empowered to navigate life in a way that feels authentic to who they are. I believe every person has unique strengths and experiences that deserve to be understood and valued.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience across outpatient clinics, residential programs, and school settings. My work with neurodivergent individuals began early in my training with children with ASD, continued through pre‑ and post‑doctoral placements with autistic adolescents and young adults, and has grown into meaningful work with adults in my telehealth practice who discovered that an autism diagnosis finally made sense of their lived experience.
Clients have noted that I can be described as being warm, friendly, and easy to talk to, while also being professional, thorough, and able to analyze patterns and help people see things from new perspectives.
At Prosper Health, my role is to provide comprehensive, affirming autism assessments that help you understand yourself more fully and move forward with confidence. During your assessment, you can expect a thoughtful, conversational process where your voice matters. Together, we’ll spend about 180 minutes reviewing your history, strengths, challenges, and the ways you navigate the world, along with gathering other important information to determine whether an autism diagnosis fits your unique experience.
In a separate 45‑minute feedback appointment, I’ll walk you through the results in a clear and supportive way, offering recommendations, resources, and the clarity you deserve.
