Welcome. Bienvenidos. My name is Dr. Kristina Rodriguez. I am grateful for the time spent getting to know me. I am passionate about stories. I believe that everyone has a right to generate, create, and navigate their own. I value and acknowledge that identities can play a role in individual's stories. As a clinician, I approach this work with compassion, curiosity, and a continuous drive to understand the individual that I am sitting across the room from. My goal is to highlight and validate the resiliency that is inherent in an individual's life path while recognizing how identities may shape it. Together, we will work towards writing the next couple of chapters of your story. Lo haremos juntos.

Welcome! If you're considering an assessment, you've already taken an important first step. Whether you're feeling curious, hopeful, uncertain, or a mix of all three, I'm glad you've found your way here. My name is Dr. Emma Doney. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist based in San Diego, and I provide assessment services to individuals throughout California. Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with family and friends, hanging out with my dog, Arlo, and my cat, Rory, or watching a Netflix documentary.Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including college counseling centers, private practice, and skilled nursing facilities. I've worked with individuals across the lifespan, from as young as 2 years old to as old as 101. My favorite part of this work is connecting with people and hearing their story, and I am always honored to be a part of their journey in some way. I believe every person deserves an assessment that honors their individual experiences and identity. There is no one-size-fits-all approach because there is no one-size-fits-all person. I strive to create a warm and welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself, where we can build trust quickly, and where you have the opportunity to share the story of the person who knows you best; you!Thank you for considering me to be part of your journey. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you through the assessment process.

One of my favorite client quotes is, "Dr. Coleman, I'm not sure if I have a diagnosis, but I know something ain't right." To me, that statement captures the heart of psychological assessment. Many people come seeking answers—not because they want a label, but because they want to better understand themselves in a world that has often tried to define them before they had the opportunity to define themselves. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them better understand how they think, feel, and experience the world. I was born and raised in Southern California and currently live in San Diego. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in college counseling centers, community mental health, private practice, a federal prison, and clinical research. Each setting has reinforced the same lesson: every person's story is unique and deserves to be understood with curiosity, compassion, and respect. My approach to assessment goes beyond simply determining whether someone meets diagnostic criteria. I take the time to understand your developmental history, your strengths, your challenges, and the experiences that have shaped who you are. My goal is to provide not only an accurate evaluation but also meaningful insight that helps you make sense of your experiences.I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I bring expertise in psychology and assessment. Together, we can develop a clearer understanding of who you are, what has shaped your journey, and the recommendations that will best support you moving forward.

Hello. It's great that you have reached out. My name is Brian King. I'm a clinical psychologist from Northern California. In doing psychological assessment I enjoy facilitating a collaborative process where we work together to get the most accurate understanding of you and your psychiatric health. By coming to honest and accurate conclusions, we can better facilitate a treatment plan which creates a clear path forward to a better life and better overall health. I consider my patients experts on themselves and I seek to understand how they view themselves, and how they think about themselves and others as a guiding tool to work together.
