Hello! My name is Maureen Khan. I currently live in the Chicago area and am licensed in Illinois. I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals be their best selves, live their best lives and, most importantly, feel understood and seen in a world that is not always designed for us. My goal is to be your ally whilst we work together to discover your true self. I look forward to getting to know who you are and helping reveal your strengths and guiding you to move toward your goals.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe that meaningful healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, chronic stress, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I strive to create a supportive space where you can explore your experiences without judgment.
Drawing from evidence-based and holistic approaches, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. My hope is to help you better understand yourself, build effective coping skills, strengthen your connection with your mind and body, and create lasting, meaningful change. Hello and welcome. I’m Dr. Tara Meskowsky, a licensed clinical psychologist in California, Idaho, and Florida and I’m so glad you’re here. I have been working with neurodivergent individuals since 2001, and supporting this community has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career. I bring a warm, thoughtful, and compassionate approach to my work, and I believe deeply in creating a space where people feel comfortable, respected, and truly understood. For many individuals, seeking an autism evaluation comes after years of feeling different, misunderstood, or out of step with those around them. It often follows a long history of wondering why everyday interactions felt harder than they seemed for others, why they felt they had to mask so much of who they were, or why they never quite felt fully understood or at ease in the world. I feel honored to help provide clarity, validation, and a deeper understanding of each person’s unique strengths and experiences.
