Hello! My name is Maureen Khan. I currently live in the Chicago area and am licensed in Illinois. I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals be their best selves, live their best lives and, most importantly, feel understood and seen in a world that is not always designed for us. My goal is to be your ally whilst we work together to discover your true self. I look forward to getting to know who you are and helping reveal your strengths and guiding you to move toward your goals.

Education & Licensure

Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Midwestern University (Downers Grove, IL); Two-year postdoctoral training in neuropsychology and neuropsychological testing.

Treatment Approach

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I have wanted to work with and support autistic and neurodivergent individuals for my entire career. I want to help neurodivergent individuals feel empowered and seen, especially after living most of their lives feeling misunderstood and not knowing their place in this world. I hope to provide a supportive environment for you to be yourself and understand who you are.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I value meeting every individual where they are at and helping them feel understood. I believe each individual, especially neurodivergent individuals, possesses unique strengths and gifts that can make the world a better place. I listen and learn from you as I help you become your authentic self.
