About
On the outside, you look like you have it all completely under control. But inside, you feel exhausted from constant work burnout, family friction, or a relationship that feels like it’s slipping through your fingers. When you are drowning in anxiety or old family patterns, day-to-day life feels unsustainable.
Whether you are untangling complex childhood trauma or trying to save your marriage, we will pinpoint the root causes. You will walk away with concrete tools to set boundaries, reduce shame, and regain control of your life.
My name is Jill Verofsky, M.S.,L.P.C.,N.C.C. and I am licensed in the state of Pennsylvania and look forward to walking this journey with you!
Working with neurodivergent peers is often deeply rewarding because of shared communication styles, mutual empathy, and complementary problem-solving. According to psychological research on the "double-empathy theory," communication flows more easily when people share similar neurotypes. This naturally eliminates the friction of navigating neurotypical social expectations. I share an implicit understanding of sensory needs, executive dysfunction, and burnout, which fosters a naturally accommodating and judgment-free environment.
I focus on reckoning and building upon your inherent strengths rather than focusing on deficits. My practice is deeply rooted in compassion and affirmation, empowering you to recognize your own resilience and realize your full potential as we navigate challenges together. We will identify and celebrate the internal tools, survival skills, and everyday victories you already possess to help you navigate life's stressors. My priority is creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where your lived experience remains central to our process. We focus on your growth at a pace that honors your comfort and personal values. By cultivating self-acceptance and building self-esteem, we ensure that your therapy is a positive, hope-inducing journey.
