Welcome! I'm Margaret Proulx, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine conversation—one where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.I provide telehealth therapy to clients in New York, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, and Delaware. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and EMDR, helping clients heal from past experiences while developing practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life's many transitions.I have a special passion for working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism. I understand that every brain works differently, and I strive to create a space where clients don't have to mask who they are. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop strategies that work for your unique mind, and help you move toward the life you want.Outside of therapy, you'll usually find me spending time with my wonderfully busy household of five cats and three dogs. They've taught me a great deal about patience, unconditional acceptance, and finding joy in the little moments which are qualities I bring into my work with clients every day. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I'm here to help you build resilience, strengthen your confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.Seeking therapy is a courageous first step, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they discover new ways to heal, grow, and thrive.

Hey, I’m glad you’re here! I am a licensed clinical psychologist currently based in Virginia, but authorized through PSYPACT to practice telehealth in over 40 states. I have lived and worked in several states across the U.S., and have provided assessment and therapy services in various settings, including college counseling centers, a hospital, community mental health clinics, and private practice. If you’ve come to gain greater clarity, you can expect to do just that, in a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere. I do enjoy a bit of humor, so sharing a laugh or two is also common with me. I’m honored to be a part of this step of your journey, one that may be life-changing and may have been long-awaited.

Greetings! I am Aleeah Muhammad Washington. I am licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia and South Carolina (telehealth compact). I am an integrative, relational therapist who draws from Attachment Theory, Relational/Systems Theory, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Human Validation Process Theory. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, as well as couples and families in medical, community, and private practice settings.I am especially passionate about working with women and feminine-presenting individuals navigating self-esteem, people-pleasing, and boundary challenges. I also enjoy working with couples and relational systems, as I believe that processing dynamics in real time can lead to deeper, more lasting change. Additionally, I support men and masculine-presenting individuals in developing emotional awareness and learning how to integrate both emotion and logic in a healthy, authentic way.My approach is warm, collaborative, and intentional. I will often invite you to move beyond “I’m fine” and explore what you are truly feeling. I believe that naming emotions is a powerful first step toward change, and I incorporate mindfulness, body awareness, and guided reflection to help you build a stronger connection with your inner world.I view therapy as a partnership—you are the expert in your life, and I am here to support, guide, and challenge you in meaningful ways. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow.Outside of the therapy room, I am a first-time mom to a beautiful, medically complex daughter and have been happily married to my college sweetheart. I value family deeply and enjoy reading, dancing, yoga, meditation, and music whenever I can find the time.
