Hi! My name is Derek, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois and Wisconsin who is passionate about supporting autistic individuals and helping them achieve their goals. As a clinical social worker practicing as a therapist, I always strive to collaborate with my clients in ways that take their strengths, support needs, environment, and personal history seriously. I have partnered with Prosper Health to reach and support autistic clients who have been struggling to find a therapist who is neurodiversity-affirming.

I'm a multiracial, queer, nonbinary clinical psychologist who specializes in intersecting identities. I work with a lot of folks who are queer, trans, racial or ethnic minorities, and neurodivergent. I have a passion for helping clients reduce anxiety, stress, confusion, sadness, and pain - so that they can live more fulfilling, authentic, and happy lives. I am licensed in Colorado, Texas, and a member of PSYPACT so I can see clients from 42 states.

Hola! I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking licensed psychologist in the state of Florida. My journey of assessing diverse individuals for accurate diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations began well before licensure. Especially, I strive to break mental health stigma in neurodivergent communities by providing comprehensive and culturally-informed psychological evaluations.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor for the state of Texas. As an introduction to my counseling, I have previously worked in a college and corporate settings, as well as psychiatric hospital and medical clinics. In these settings, I have also gained knowledge on tools that can help a person achieve their full potential. My main mode of therapy is a collaborative one. I work from a holistic standpoint, in that I look at various aspects of a person’s life, such as their family, career, friends, etc., and how they fit together to form the individual. I am also a “person-centered” therapist, in that my approach to the client is to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental viewpoint that will help a person achieve their potential. I also focus on a “cognitive” approach, such as examining how our thoughts can influence our emotions and our actions.
