About

Hi, I’m Dr. Wendy, a licensed psychologist practicing in Florida. I’m glad you’ve made the decision to explore whether autism may be part of your story. Seeking a diagnosis—especially as an adult—can feel vulnerable, but it can also be a strong step toward self-understanding. I’m happy to be here to provide a thorough, respectful, and evidence-based assessment process that helps bring clarity to your experiences. With a background in both biology and psychology, I’ve always been curious about how our brains shape how we experience the world. I’ve worked with people navigating health concerns, life changes, and identity questions. I don’t see autism—or any diagnosis—as separate from the rest of who you are. I’m here to walk with you as you consider whether autism may help make sense of your story.

Education & Licensure
"Ph.D. in Bio-Clinical Psychology (Dual major in Physiology and Psychology), Southern Illinois University at Carbondale; M.A. in Psychology, Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH); B.A. in Psychology and Biology, Edgecliff College (Cincinnati, OH) "
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

For much of my career, I’ve worked with people who felt misunderstood, overlooked, or misdiagnosed—sometimes for decades. I’ve also had my own experience of being diagnosed with ADHD later in life, which opened up a deeper understanding of myself and my path. I know how validating it can be to finally have a name for patterns that have always been there. When I learned about Prosper Health’s affirming and client-centered approach to autism assessment, I knew it aligned with my values. If you’ve spent years wondering why certain things feel harder—or why you’ve always felt different—it would be an honor to help you explore those questions through a clear and structured process.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe that a well-conducted assessment should be an opportunity to understand yourself more fully. My role is to provide a thorough, science-informed evaluation that considers not just the complexity of your diagnosis, but the whole context of your life. I want you to feel seen and recognized as a whole person whose experiences make sense. The mental health field hasn’t always embraced neurodiversity, but that’s changing. I welcome this broader, more inclusive understanding of human variation. In that spirit, I promise to approach each assessment with care, curiosity, and respect for the unique individual you are.
