Hello there! My name is Dr. Shalanda Gordon-Robinson. I am a clinical psychologist with a specialty in neuropsychology. I have spent many years assisting people with neurodegenerative disorders to find a better pathway in life through assessments, counseling and rehabilitation since 2007.
I am drawn to this field because I recognize the need for better support, resources, and understanding for autistic individuals—especially in adulthood, where services tend to be less available compared to childhood. I have a strong belief in advocating for inclusivity and creating a world that embraces different ways of thinking and experiencing life. I am drawn to the strengths and unique perspectives with those with autism and want to foster an inclusive society that values neurodiversity. I am motivated to improve quality of life, whether through therapy , coaching, advocacy, or even employment support.
I prioritize an affirming and strengths-based approach to ensure that every individual feels seen, valued, and empowered. I believe that each client possesses unique strengths and abilities that can be harnessed to navigate challenges and achieve personal goals. I actively listen to their experiences and validate their feelings, creating a safe space where they can express themselves authentically.
