Intro

Hello there! I am a Psychologist licensed in Texas and Alabama. I also have Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology, which allows me to practice telepsychology in all PSYPACT states. I love helping autistic adults to learn more about themselves and their strengths, as well as areas in which they may need more support.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

As a late-identified autistic adult myself who has many neurodivergent family members, I am passionate about assisting with self-discovery in others who may not have been identified early in life. It can be an incredibly validating to be able to finally make sense of our past experiences through the lens of autism. Discovering an autism diagnosis can also be a wonderful growth experience in that it helps us to fully love and appreciate parts of ourselves that we may not have valued in the past.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I love to focus on the many and varied strengths that the autistic adults I see have to offer to the world. I believe that capitalizing on the areas in which we excel can lead to a great deal of self-healing and allow us to truly shine through our unique gifts. It is very important for autistic adults to be strong self-advocates, select their own goals, and move forward in the way they feel is best to achieve those goals.
