Hello! I am Kattie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I have found immense joy in my role as a therapist for the neurodivergent community, grateful for the ability to witness resilience and personal growth. I am available to Prosper Health client’s who are seeking to develop healthy coping skills, process stressors, and build healthy relationships.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I have been counseling adults, many with neurodivergent qualities or diagnoses for four years. In personal realms, I embrace ADHD and Autism in some of my loved friends and family! I feel it is so important to affirm a neurodivergent experience within a world designed for neurotypical folks. I can work with you to guide you to learn the depths of your strengths and abilities to truly feel empowered.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach working with the autistic community is rooted in empathy and tailored to each person’s needs. I am eager to get to know you- to understand your values, cultural experiences, who you are unmasked, and your strengths. I do this through affirming your experiences, and giving you actionable tools to help understand yourself and your strengths.
