I have been working in the mental health field for 15+ years and have worked with a wide range of individuals with different mental health conditions. In the past 5 years, I have honed my skills to focus more toward treatment and support of neurodivergent individuals. This passion developed due to my work in various agencies and educational systems where neurodivergent individuals were underserved due to lack of knowledge and a lack of understanding on how to support their individual needs. I love helping neurodivergent individuals navigate a world that is not always accommodating to their needs.

I myself rage against the “norms” of society and feel neurodivergent individuals are often faced with criticism for being different, too often bombarded with people pointing out deficits as opposed to the amazing benefits and strengths of seeing and approaching the world in a unique way. I aim to help support individuals I serve by assisting them with developing skills to effectively manage life challenges they face, while also identifying and celebrating their amazing differences and strengths. To this end, I utilize strength-based approaches that are person-centered and person specific to one's needs and treatment goals.

I utilize multiple modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am also an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).

In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, taking part in hobbies and connecting with nature and my pets. I like to bird watch and care for my indoor and outdoor plants and plant native gardens for insects and wildlife. I also like to crochet and craft for a creative outlet.
