Intro

Hello and welcome to Prosper Health! I am so happy to meet you. My name is Carin O'Rourke and I currently reside in northeastern Wisconsin. I am licensed in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa as a LCSW. My passion lies with guiding individuals in self-discovery and helping them become the best person they are able to be. As a clinician, and who identifies as neurodivergent, I believe and understand the need in creating a non-judgmental and safe place where you are able to be listened to and understood. I will walk aside you on your unique journey, offering hope and guidance as you engage in services.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for working with autistic/neurodivergent clients comes from a deep place of understanding through my own challenges as being neurodivergent. It is important for me that you find value with who you are and feel empowered to try something new.  You deserve to be respected and understood for the unique person you are. I want to ensure you are heard and listened to. I will stand in your corner and be your cheerleader, encouraging you and supporting you. You deserve the best in life!

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring person-centered, strengths-based, and mindfulness approaches to therapy. I believe in validation of your experiences and identifying your resiliency to create a safe place for you to be who you want to be.
