About
My career began in medicine, where I recognized an unmet need for comprehensive mental health care. This realization inspired me to pursue a role in mental health services, with a focus on addressing issues such as trauma, ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), anxiety, and depression.I believe in a person-centered, trauma informed and strengths-based approach that recognizes each person as individual and unique. As such your treatment plan will be tailored to meet your specific needs.Mental health is just as important as physical health and must be addressed with equal care and attention.I am dedicated to being present in our sessions and supporting you where you are at.
My dedication to working with autistic adults arises from my own neurodivergent identity. Having personally encountered ableism and a scarcity of neurodivergent-affirming care, I have committed to delivering person-centered support. I am profoundly inspired by the strengths, perspectives, and resilience inherent within the autistic community, and I endeavor to offer assistance that respects each individual's distinct experiences. My objective is to facilitate clients in navigating challenges, leveraging their strengths, and cultivating proficiencies that enrich their daily lives and relationships. Collaboratively, we can pursue a life in which you experience comprehension, support, and the capacity to flourish.
I utilize a cultural humility perspective when interacting with everyone I meet. Meaning, you are the expert on your life. Every person has a unique story and skill sets.
