Find Adult Autism Care Near You
Our team of therapists and psychologists has extensive experience working with autistic adults.

By the time most people reach me, the problem usually isn't that they can't function. It's what functioning costs — the work week that takes the whole weekend to recover from, the relationship that runs on effort nobody else seems to be spending, the growing suspicion that you're paying a tax other people aren't. I'm George, and I work with late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD adults on that math: where your energy actually goes, what your nervous system actually needs, and which demands in your life are worth what they take. I came to therapy the long way — film & media first, then animal assisted therapy on a farm, then hiking therapy in private practice. What we do together is mostly unglamorous and specific: figuring out where your energy is actually going, what you're willing to spend it on, and how to ask for the conditions you need at work and at home without a fight every time. You're usually not the problem, you're usually responding to something. Sessions are warm, flexible, and thoughtfully challenging — I'll ask the question you've been avoiding, but I won't rush you to it.

I am a neuropsychologist specializing in assessment and neuropsychologically-based intervention, with thirty years of experience working with autistic adults and children, as well as individuals diagnosed with ADHD and related learning differences. Formerly on staff at UC San Francisco Medical Center, I am currently in private practice in Carmel, California. I understand that pursuing an assessment as an adult — particularly for something that may have shaped your entire experience of yourself in the world — is a significant decision. I take that seriously, and I bring both clinical rigor and genuine care to every assessment I conduct.

Hello and thank you for visiting! I'm Dr. Amy. I live and work in the Chicago suburbs and have been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Illinois for over 15 years. I love what I get to do for a living! As a clinician I take a collaborative, straightforward and strengths-based approach, and strive to provide a safe and empowering experience. I have a passion for working with communities that have been historically marginalized and under served or poorly served by the medical and mental health fields. I believe you are ultimately the expert on your own life and experiences, and I am honored when I get to be a part of the journey toward self awareness and healing.

Hello and welcome—I'm so glad you're here. My name is Katie Keridan, and I'm a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist based in Silicon Valley. I am passionate about helping people understand how their brain works, and my goal as a clinician is to create a safe space where you can be seen, heard, and have your experiences validated. I believe an accurate understanding of yourself can be both liberating and empowering, and it's my greatest honor to support you in your journey. When I'm not connecting with clients, I love to spend time with my husband, write, and travel.

Understanding your own mind can be one of the most clarifying and empowering experiences of your life—and guiding that process is work I find deeply meaningful. My name is Dr. Dana Haywood, and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist based in Midtown Manhattan, licensed in the State of New York. My work is centered on truly understanding you — not just your challenges, but the full picture of how your mind works, how you experience the world, and what makes you uniquely you. I specialize in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions, and I am deeply passionate about providing assessments that are accurate, affirming, and actually useful to you in your daily life. Whether you are seeking a diagnosis for the first time, looking for clarity after years of unanswered questions, or hoping to better advocate for yourself at work or school, I am here to partner with you in that process with care, honesty, and deep respect.
