About

I am so excited to work with you! My name is Tanisha Clark, and I am a Texas native. I identify as neurodiverse; though I recognize that each neurodiverse individual has a unique journey and life outlook. My work is autism-affirming, grounded in respect for neurodiversity, and tailored to each individual's values and goal. I provide tools and research-based techniques to help you guide you, while also maintaining a judgement free space led by your needs.

Education & Licensure
Bachelors in Psychology from Spelman College; Master's in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University; Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School; Postdoctoral Fellowship in Autism at Stanford University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I am humorous and compassionate. Our time together will include recognizing your strengths as a individual, and validating your unique challenges. I provide a research driven approach to assessment and compassionate education around symptoms, while always recognizing that you are the expert on you.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I became a psychologist because over the course of my 10 years supporting families and communities in various roles (non-profit director, teacher, principal), my office became a safe space for neurodiverse individuals and their families. I value the unique lived experiences client share and always ensure you feel safe and validated.
