About
Hey, I’m Laura—I'm really glad you’re here. Does it feel sometimes like life doesn't make sense or isn't geared to your particular way of seeing the world? I have been there and I understand. Life can feel overwhelming sometimes, whether you're dealing with tough relationships, big changes, or the unexpected challenges of parenting. Maybe you're just feeling stuck and unsure what to do next. You deserve someone who truly listens, lets you go at your own pace, and makes therapy feel approachable—not intimidating. If you express yourself through humor, words, music, or even a little sarcasm, you're in the right place. This is a no-judgment space to work through what’s holding you back. If that sounds like what you need, let’s connect!
As a neurodiverse individual, I know how important it is to feel comfortable and like your therapist really "gets you." I feel it is very important that I offer my clients a warm, genuine, and collaborative space where you can feel supported as you find balance, strength, and affirmation. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in GA and VA, a Certified Grief Counselor, and have worked with all ages in community, school, and private practice settings. For me, being a therapist isn’t just a job—it’s truly my calling.
I believe everyone deserves happiness, and I truly hope our time together helps you feel more self-acceptance, awareness, and empowerment. Your comfort matters most, so we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I'm always learning and open to new approaches—if there’s something you’d like to try, I’m all ears!
