I'm Dr. Dug and I'm a clinical psychologist in Charlotte. I am board certified in couple and family psychology, which means I approach my work from a systemic perspective. I am licensed in North Carolina, Georgia, Hawaii, and Washington and am PSYPACT designated, which means I can work with clients in almost every state. I am a Korean-American woman and the first generation of my family born in the U.S.
I have experience working with autistic clients who worked in tech during my almost two decades in Seattle. However, what is even more important to me is my passion to help autistic women and people of color to identify and embrace their autistic identities.
My clinical perspective has always been strengths-based and I have strived to help people recognize the resources and unique gifts they contribute to their communities. For women and people of color, especially, it is important for these clients to embrace their authentic identity rather than the identity given to them.
