Hello! My name is Claudia Son. I currently live in California and am licensed in both California and Iowa. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and valued for who you are. I take special care to recognize your unique experiences, strengths, and needs. My goal is to guide you through the assessment process in a way that is warm, encouraging, and collaborative.
My interest in psychology was first sparked in high school while volunteering with children and adults with autism. Although my professional path took me in several unexpected directions as I pursued my doctorate, I view the opportunity to work with autistic adults as a meaningful way to come full circle and return to what first inspired my interest in psychology. I hope to bring my training, experience, and strengths to help you feel seen, gain insight, and feel supported throughout the assessment process.
Through listening with empathy and understanding, I will help you recognize and embrace your strengths, so that we can explore how your inner qualities can support you in moving forward with greater confidence, regardless of the outcome of the assessment.
