Intro
Hello! My name is Arielle. I am licensed clinician social worker in the states of Massachusetts, Missouri, Arkansas and South Dakota. I identify as neurodivergent. I have worked with autistic persons even before becoming a therapist as an in home advocate. I currently reside in the state of Missouri. I completed my internship at an inpatient substance use treatment facility and I completed my initial licensure requirements at a domestic violence and substance use facility. Subsequently, I have worked in crisis mental health treatment, as a behavioral health consultant for the Air Force, as an exposure response prevention specialist treating OCD, and as a general talk therapist.
I initially sought higher education to be able to support my autistic son navigate services and to be the best advocate for him I could be. I recognized more and more of my own neurodivergence raising my son and my passion for working with this population just continues to grow. I identify as autistic and in addition to my son, we have multiple family members that are autistic as well.
I recognize that all autistic persons are unique individuals, but we also share similarities as neurodivergent persons. For me, being around and working with autistic persons is like being with my tribe. I have faced many challenges growing up different and I also learned that things aren't over until we say they are. I enjoy helping others find their own empowerment and self-acceptance. This world may not have been built for non allistic persons, but we are human beings that deserve the opportunity to access the same opportunities and be successful even if that looks a little different. I am here to listen and be in your corner as you navigate what your best life looks like.
