I am an LICSW in the state of Massachusetts. I received by Master of Social Work from Missouri State University.
I have been working with the autistic community for over 10 years. I have found that my own personal identification of being autistic and having a 20 year old child with autism has made working with other autistic individuals successful and rewarding. I pride myself on my creativity and ability to meet a client where they are at and find new ways to help clients reach their goals.
I believe that just about anything is possible as long as you refuse to give up. Things might take longer than we hope or might not be easy, but we can live our dreams and be successful in reaching our goals. I delight in watching others live their best life and I know that therapy is about my client's personal goals, not mine. I recognize that not all strategies work for everyone the same and sometimes we will have to make changes and go back to the drawing board. Being autistic brings its own unique challenges and I am here for all of it. I am excited to learn about who you are and how we can work together.
In my free time, I love art, especially painting, and creating. I also enjoy gardening and I am currently tending to my greenhouse. I have all sorts of fruits and vegetable I grow in addition to flowers.
