About

I am a counselor based in Greensboro, North Carolina, providing evidence-informed, individualized mental health services to adolescents and adults. I am licensed to practice in North Carolina, Texas, and South Carolina, and offer both in-person and secure telehealth services. My clinical approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy and Gestalt Therapy, with additional training in EMDR and certification as an HMI Hypnotherapist. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship difficulties. I also provide affirming and inclusive care to members of the LGBTQIAPK community. Treatment is tailored to each client’s clinical needs, with a focus on fostering insight, emotional regulation, and sustainable behavioral change.

Education & Licensure
Associate's in Criminal Justice from Davidson County Community College; Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration-Legal Studies from Strayer University; Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I believe too many individuals have been misunderstood, overlooked, or expected to fit into systems that were never designed for them. Throughout my work, I have seen how neurodivergent individuals are often labeled by deficits rather than recognized for their strengths, insight, and unique ways of experiencing the world. I am drawn to this work because it allows me to advocate for authenticity rather than conformity, and to help clients build self-understanding, self-acceptance, and practical coping strategies that honor who they truly are. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where neurodivergent clients feel respected, validated, and supported in navigating a world that can feel overwhelming or misaligned with their needs.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My work with autistic and neurodivergent clients is grounded in a strength-based, neuroaffirming approach that prioritizes recognizing and building upon each individual’s inherent abilities, insight, and resilience rather than focusing on perceived deficits. I view neurodivergence as a natural variation of human experience, and my clinical focus is on helping clients understand, value, and leverage their unique ways of thinking, processing, and engaging with the world. In practice, this means creating a therapeutic space rooted in compassion, affirmation, and collaboration. Together, we explore strengths, interests, and internal resources while also identifying strategies that support emotional regulation, communication, and self-advocacy. Interventions are adapted to honor sensory needs, cognitive styles, and personal values, allowing clients to move toward their goals in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.I am committed to supporting clients as they recognize their own capacity for growth and self-direction. Therapy is not about changing who you are, but about empowering you to thrive as you are—while developing tools that enhance confidence, autonomy, and overall quality of life.
