Hello, I'm Dr. Yulissa Fundora a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I currently live in Miramar, and am licensed both as a Clinical Psychologist and Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have more than 17 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults suffering from a broad array of mental health and/neuro-developmental disorders. Dr. Fundora conducts Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations, Full Battery Psychological and Psycho-educational Assessments. My approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and focused on helping clients feel understood and supported.
My ultimate goal is to help the patient and their family understand and navigate challenges from an emphatic and proactive manner, while respecting and honoring their unique situations and cultural background.
I prioritize an affirming and strengths-based approach to ensure that every individual feels seen, valued, and empowered. I believe that each client possesses unique strengths and abilities that can be harnessed to navigate challenges and achieve personal goals.
