About
Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Yaosmel, and I am licensed in Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Texas. I am passionate about helping people who are going through difficult seasons in life and may feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or emotionally drained.I believe therapy should be a safe place where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Life can feel heavy sometimes, especially when you are trying to keep up with responsibilities, relationships, work, and personal goals all at once. You do not have to carry everything alone. My goal is to help you feel more hopeful, confident, and connected to yourself as we work through challenges together. I believe every person has strengths inside of them, even during hard times, and sometimes we just need the right support to reconnect with them.I enjoy working with young and middle-aged adults who are ready to grow, heal, and create a healthier and more balanced life.
I take an affirming, strengths-based approach, helping clients better understand themselves while building on the strengths they already have. I believe every person has value, abilities, and resilience, even during difficult seasons of life. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, accepted, and free from judgment or pressure to “fit in.” I meet clients where they are through active listening, guidance, and practical support. I enjoy helping clients recognize patterns, simplify overwhelming emotions, build self-awareness, and develop tools they can use in everyday life. I believe growth takes time, small steps matter, and the right support can make a meaningful difference.
One of the reasons I enjoy working with autistic and neurodivergent adults is because I truly value the different ways people think, feel, and experience the world. I have a deep respect for the creativity, honesty, resilience, and unique perspectives that many neurodivergent individuals bring into their daily lives and relationships.I understand that many people simply want a space where they feel accepted, understood, and not judged. My goal is to create a supportive and structured environment where you can feel safe being yourself without pressure to “fit in” or mask who you are.I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and work through challenges in a way that feels empowering and meaningful to them.Every person’s experience is different, and I am committed to meeting you where you are with patience, respect, and care.
