About
Hi, I'm Vivison Kerr. I have over 40 years of clinical experience, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals, couples, families, and children navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. I have worked extensively with diverse populations, including military service members, veterans, adults, adolescents, and families from a wide range of cultural and personal backgrounds.
I believe that effective therapy begins with building a safe, trusting relationship where clients feel comfortable being heard without judgment. Every person’s experiences and needs are unique, and I take an individualized, solution-focused approach to help clients identify strengths, overcome obstacles, and achieve meaningful change. My therapeutic style integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), offering practical strategies to improve emotional well-being, communication, relationships, and daily functioning.
My goal is to create a supportive and respectful environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and resilience.
My motivation for working with neurodivergent and autistic adults comes from a deep respect for neurodiversity and a commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and understanding therapeutic relationship. I value the unique perspectives, strengths, and resilience that each individual brings, and I believe therapy should honor those experiences rather than attempt to change who someone is.
I strive to provide an individualized, solution-focused approach where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges, build on their strengths, improve relationships and communication, and develop practical skills that support greater confidence and well-being. Together, we can work toward creating a life where you feel understood, supported, and able to thrive as your authentic self.
