About
Hello and welcome! I’m Dr. Veronica Felstad—though most people call me Dr. V. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Washington State, and I specialize in comprehensive remote neuropsychological evaluations for autism and ADHD in adults. My passion is helping you find clarity, understanding, and practical tools to support your unique journey as a neurodivergent individual.I believe that everyone deserves to feel truly seen, heard, and validated. My approach is rooted in neurodiversity-affirming care, and I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate a world that often overlooks different ways of thinking, connecting, and processing the world. What drives me is the opportunity to partner with you as you seek real answers—not just a diagnosis, but meaningful insight and a roadmap for moving forward.
I chose to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent adults because I am continually inspired by the creativity, insight, and resilience within this community. My own experiences and years of listening to clients who have spent too long second-guessing themselves motivate me every day. I am honored to witness your strengths, perspectives, and growth, and I strive to provide support that honors your lived experience. My goal is to help you navigate challenges, build on your strengths, and develop skills that enhance your daily life and relationships.
I focus on reckoning with and building upon your unique strengths. My approach is rooted in compassion, affirmation, and a commitment to supporting you as you realize your full potential. In our sessions, I listen actively and validate your feelings, creating a safe space where you can express yourself authentically. I believe that your strengths and abilities are powerful tools for thriving—and together, we’ll harness those to help you communicate, work, and connect in ways that feel right for you. As someone who is multilingual (Spanish, Italian, and English) and who has long been involved in affinity groups and advocacy for neurodiversity and social justice, I am dedicated to providing care that is culturally sensitive and affirming of all identities.Whether you’re just beginning to ask questions about how your brain works, or you’re looking for a deeper understanding of your strengths and challenges, I’m here to help you untangle the confusion and find the clarity you deserve—all from the comfort of your own home. Your journey is unique, and I am committed to partnering with you in a space that is safe, compassionate, and truly affirming.
