About
Welcome! I’m glad you’ve taken this step toward learning more about yourself and finding support. I'm Vanessa Jessie-Huber, and a licensed psychologist. I believe that meaningful therapy begins with feeling comfortable, respected, and genuinely understood. I take the time to listen carefully, understand your unique concerns, and ensure you feel informed throughout our sessions. It is a privilege to support you as you seek a deeper understanding of yourself and the challenges you face. My goal is to provide thoughtful, meaningful answers that offer clarity and practical steps forward.
What drew me to working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals is the opportunity to help people feel seen, understood, and valued. I believe differences in thinking, learning, communication, and processing are not limitations to be corrected, but unique aspects of who we are to be understood and supported.
I am passionate about helping you gain clarity, recognize your strengths, and develop strategies that support your goals. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that you deserve care that honors your individuality and helps you move forward with confidence.
As an individual with a diverse cultural background and experience supporting military service members and veterans, I understand the importance of providing care that honors each person’s unique identity and lived experiences. My previous work has strengthened my appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and the many factors that shape an individual’s journey.
I bring this same compassion and respect to my work with autistic and neurodivergent individuals, focusing on recognizing strengths and affirming individuality. My goal is to partner with you as you develop greater self-understanding, build upon your strengths, and discover meaningful ways to thrive.
