Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for specializing in work with autistic and neurodivergent clients is both personal and professional. Having family members on the spectrum has given me a genuine appreciation for the unique strengths and perspectives within the neurodivergent community. Through my experience, I’ve found that psychological assessment is where I’m most energized, as it allows me to help individuals and families gain clarity, direction, and meaningful answers. I am dedicated to providing assessments that are affirming, comprehensive, and empowering, so that each person feels truly seen and supported as they move forward. Being part of a process that can open doors to new opportunities and greater confidence is deeply rewarding to me.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach to my work by intentionally highlighting each client’s unique abilities, interests, and successes throughout the assessment and feedback process. In my recommendations, I focus not only on areas for growth but also on practical ways to leverage existing strengths to manage challenges more effectively. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel respected and understood, and I encourage them to recognize and celebrate their own resilience and achievements. My goal is for every individual to leave the process with a sense of validation, hope, and concrete strategies that build on what’s already working well in their lives.
