Greetings! My name is Tim Owens and I welcome your partnership on a journey of discovery. I have enjoyed a career dedicated to helping neurodivergent individuals of all ages learn more about their unique set of talents and the things that make them different, both as a source of strength and at times as challenges in life and human interactions. I believe the word "diagnosis" in its' root form means to learn together. I relish opportunities to help you discover more about how you experience the world and your place in it. Perhaps you experience life in ways that others have difficulty understanding. Learning about this together is my life's work.
Our diversity makes all of us stronger. What a fascinating world we experience filled with unique individuals. Neurodiversity is not something "wrong" with an individual. In fact it is something that makes all of us stronger and the world an interesting place. I firmly believe that each individual deserves to be happy and fulfilled in their own unique way. I love helping people learn more about themselves, their strengths and challenges, and helping them toward a path of self-discovery and increased connectivity, life satisfaction and self-worth. I look forward to working with you on this journey.
I believe in authentic, individualized and meaningful assessment. Key to this process is treating each person with respect, a listening ear, a calming, centered presence and letting go of rigid expectations. I treat all my clients with respect, honor their individuality and offer a warm, sometimes humorous and open communication. The goal of my assessment is to learn together with you and grow toward increased understanding.
