About

I'm so glad you're here!!  My name is Tiffany and I currently live in Dallas, Texas.  A little bit about me is that I have been a licensed therapist for 6 years.  I have also worked in a variety of clinical settings that include:  Behavioral health settings, Outpatient mental health clinics, Substance use treatment programs, Community health centers and Integrated healthcare environments.  One of the key strengths I bring  to the counseling session is my ability to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood.  I am skilled at holding space for individuals as they process challenges, emotions, and life experiences.  At the same time, I utilize a warm yet direct approach when needed, gently challenging clients to explore patterns, gain insight, and move toward meaningful growth and change.  I believe that balancing empathy with honest, compassionate feedback helps foster trust, accountability and positive therapeutic outcomes.   I am committed to walking alongside you in your personalized therapy journey.

Education & Licensure
Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNT Dallas; Bachelors in Psychology from University of Hawaii Hilo
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I want to work with autistic adults because I enjoy helping people feel valued, understood, and supported. I believe every individual has their own strengths, abilities, and potential, and I enjoy holding a safe space where individuals can build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their personal goals.I understand that everyone communicates and experiences the world differently, so I believe patience, empathy, and respect are vital in one's own therapy journey.  I want to create a supportive environment where each person feels safe, included, and respected for who they are.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strength-based approach to my work by recognizing that every individual has unique strengths, abilities, experiences, and needs. I focus on understanding each person as an individual rather than defining them by their diagnosis or challenges.I also focus on promoting independence, confidence, and self-advocacy while recognizing that progress looks different for everyone. My goal is to support clients in ways that honor their identity, respect their autonomy, and help them achieve meaningful goals that are important to them.
