About

I’m Dr. Tiffany, a clinical and forensic psychologist based in Chicago, Illinois. I also provide care remotely through PSYPACT. I bring a background rooted in both clinical and forensic psychology, with extensive experience working across family systems, legal contexts, and complex emotional presentations. My work is driven by a deep commitment to helping people feel understood in the moments where life feels most fragmented. I’m passionate about creating affirming spaces where clients can build insight, emotional regulation, and practical tools that translate into real-life change.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My interest in working with autistic and neurodivergent folx comes from recognizing how often these individuals are misunderstood or required to adapt to systems that were not designed with them in mind. Early in my clinical work, I saw a consistent pattern: highly capable people experiencing chronic stress, burnout, and identity confusion because their differences were being framed through a deficit-based lens rather than understood as a neurodevelopmental variation. Over time, I became especially drawn to providing assessments and therapy that move away from pathologizing and move toward clarity, identity building, and self-understanding. I’m motivated by helping clients make sense of lifelong patterns—social, emotional, sensory, and relational—in a way that reduces shame and increases agency. Working in this space allows me to integrate structured clinical work with a more affirming, strengths-based approach, while helping clients build systems that actually fit how their brains work rather than forcing them to constantly compensate.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is grounded in affirmation, compassion, and a strengths-based lens. When working with autistic and neurodivergent folx, I focus less on deficits and more on understanding how each person already succeeds. From there, the work becomes about building on those strengths with structure and intention. I help clients identify patterns that have supported them, even in difficult environments, and translate those into more sustainable ways of living, working, and relating. At its core, my goal is to support clients in making sense of their lived experience without shame, while helping them build systems that allow their strengths to lead.
