About

Many neurodivergent adults have spent years feeling misunderstood, masking to get through daily life, or wondering why certain things feel harder than they should. Prosper Health is committed to making life happier and healthier for autistic adults, and I’m honored to be part of that mission. You deserve care that sees you fully, respects your identity, and helps you thrive.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience across outpatient clinics, residential programs, and school settings. My work with neurodivergent individuals began early in my training with children with ASD, continued through pre‑ and post‑doctoral placements with autistic adolescents and young adults, and has grown into meaningful work with adults in my telehealth practice who discovered that an autism diagnosis finally made sense of their lived experience.

Clients have noted that I can be described as being warm, friendly, and easy to talk to, while also being professional, thorough, and able to analyze patterns and help people see things from new perspectives.

At Prosper Health, my role is to provide comprehensive, affirming autism assessments that help you understand yourself more fully and move forward with confidence. During your assessment, you can expect a thoughtful, conversational process where your voice matters. Together, we’ll spend about 180 minutes reviewing your history, strengths, challenges, and the ways you navigate the world, along with gathering other important information to determine whether an autism diagnosis fits your unique experience.

In a separate 45‑minute feedback appointment, I’ll walk you through the results in a clear and supportive way, offering recommendations, resources, and the clarity you deserve.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on this important part of your journey.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I’ve always felt different myself. Growing up, I was described as creative, shy, smart, and competitive — a quiet observer who noticed patterns, read between the lines, and absorbed the world in my own way. Even though most people wouldn’t call me quiet now, those early traits shaped how I think, how I connect, and how I practice. The ability to synthesize information, pick up subtle cues, and understand people deeply has become one of my greatest strengths in assessment and therapy.

As I’ve moved through my own life, I’ve come to recognize that I am neurodivergent. I’ve also long identified as LGBTQ — or, as I prefer these days, queer. These identities inform how I see the world and how I show up for others. They help me understand what it feels like to navigate spaces that weren’t built with you in mind, to mask parts of yourself, or to wonder why certain things feel harder than they should.

My “why” comes from that lived experience and from years of working with neurodivergent individuals across schools, residential programs, outpatient clinics, and telehealth. I’ve seen the relief that comes when someone finally feels understood. I’ve seen how an accurate diagnosis can open doors, quiet self‑doubt, and help people rewrite their story with compassion instead of confusion or shame. I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone realizes they were never “too much” or “not enough” — they were simply neurodivergent in a world that didn’t recognize it.

That is why I chose this path.

I believe autistic and neurodivergent adults deserve care that is affirming, respectful, and grounded in genuine curiosity. You deserve a space where your identity is honored, your strengths are recognized, and your challenges are understood in context. My goal is to help you make sense of your experiences, reduce the pressure to mask, and move toward a life where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming, strengths‑based approach to every assessment. I believe autistic and neurodivergent adults have unique insight, creativity, and resilience, and my role is to help you recognize those strengths as we work together to understand your experiences. I listen closely, validate what you share, and create a space where you can express yourself openly without pressure or judgment. My goal is to help you gain clarity through a diagnostic process that feels supportive, empowering, and true to who you are.
