About

Hello and welcome! I’m Dr. Tamara Randall, a bilingual, Mexican-American psychologist based in Oregon . As a first-generation college graduate, I understand how personal history, culture, family, and life experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and navigate the world. I am passionate about helping people develop a deeper understanding of themselves, recognize their strengths, and move toward greater well-being. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and I strive to create a safe space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood. I believe every person’s story is unique, and I am committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care that honors the whole person.

Education & Licensure

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals comes from a deep commitment to helping people feel seen, understood, and valued for who they truly are. Too often, neurodivergent individuals—particularly adults, women, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds—spend years feeling different or misunderstood without knowing why. I find it deeply meaningful to help individuals make sense of their experiences, recognize their strengths, and replace self-criticism with greater understanding and self-compassion. Through thoughtful, affirming assessment and support, my goal is to provide clarity and practical recommendations that can improve daily life, relationships, education, and work. I strive to honor each person’s unique way of thinking and experiencing the world while helping them build a life in which they feel empowered and able to thrive.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach to my work by looking beyond diagnoses or areas of difficulty to understand each person as a whole. I listen carefully to clients’ experiences, recognize the abilities and strategies they have already developed, and create a compassionate space where they can show up authentically without fear of judgment. Rather than viewing neurodivergent traits as deficits, I help clients understand how their unique ways of thinking, communicating, and experiencing the world can be meaningful sources of insight and strength. My goal is to help each client develop greater self-understanding, build upon their strengths, and receive practical, individualized support that empowers them to realize their full potential.
