About

Welcome!  I am a Maryland licensed psychologist with 25 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessments. I have been fortunate to work in a variety of contexts, including inpatient mental health facilities, university counseling centers, substance abuse and eating disorder residential facilities, and evaluation centers.  These experiences have provided me with the opportunity and to help and learn from diverse client populations. I have been in private practice in Towson, MD since 2014, where I provide individual psychotherapy to adults diagnosed with PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression.  I value collaborating with clients in order to assist them in reaching their own goals.

Education & Licensure
Postdoctoral fellowship in Trauma Disorders from Sheppard Pratt Health System; Psy.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Widener University's Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology; B.A in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I wanted to specialize in conducting assessments of autistic/neurodivergent adults because in my private practice I have found that my adult neurodivergent clients have had difficulty finding such testing.  Testing can offer answers to better understand your symptoms, including appropriate treatment, work and school accommodations, and benefits.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

While we all struggle with whatever difficulties we have, we also all have strengths that have helped us persevere through those struggles.  My goal is to encourage you to understand your difficulties, and also to value your strengths.
