About

Hi, I’m Tabitha Wilson, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I’m passionate about helping adults navigate life’s transitions, work through the impact of trauma, and manage anxiety and stress while developing a deeper understanding of themselves and the experiences that have shaped them.I believe therapy should be a space where you can slow down, exhale, and feel safe enough to be honest about what’s really going on. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, and I meet each client where they are.My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, work through what may be keeping you stuck, and develop healthier ways of showing up for yourself and your life.

Education & Licensure
Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, Atlanta, Georgia; Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for working with autistic and neurodivergent adults comes from a desire to create a space where individuals feel understood, accepted, and supported for who they are. I believe therapy can be a place to explore identity, build self-awareness, recognize strengths, and develop a deeper sense of confidence in yourself. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to embrace their unique experiences and navigate life in a way that feels authentic to them.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach by creating a space where clients feel safe to be fully themselves. I believe therapy is not about changing who someone is, but about better understanding themselves, recognizing their strengths, and developing tools that support the life they want to create.I approach each client with curiosity, compassion, and respect for their unique experiences. My goal is to help clients feel seen and supported while building greater self-awareness, confidence, and acceptance of who they are.
