About

Hello and welcome to my profile! I am a licensed psychologist in California with training and experience in psychological assessment and therapy across university counseling centers and community programs. In my work with neurodiverse adults, I have conducted neurodiversity-affirming ADHD evaluations at UC Santa Barbara and providing individual and group therapy to autistic and ADHD clients at UCSB and Arizona State University. Broadly, my assessment experience includes cognitive, academic, adaptive functioning, and personality assessment, as well as integrated report writing.

Education & Licensure
PhD in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University; Master's in Psychology from The City University of New York; Bachelor's in Communication from Boston University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I’m drawn to assessment because an affirming and thoughtful evaluation can do much more than provide a diagnosis. For many, the evaluation process can offer a new framework for understanding experiences that one may have spent years interpreting as personal shortcomings. I value helping people make sense of longstanding patterns in their relationships, emotions, sensory experiences, and ways of moving through the world—and I believe that together we can translate that understanding into something meaningful, empowering, and actionable.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and neurodiversity-affirming. I aim to understand the whole person rather than reducing someone to a collection of symptoms or test scores. Alongside areas of difficulty, I pay close attention to strengths, adaptations, interests, identities, relationships, and the environments in which a person functions best. I have particular experience and interest in supporting my fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community. My goal is for the assessment process to feel respectful and meaningful, and for you to leave with a clearer understanding of themselves, recognition of the strengths you already possess, and practical recommendations that support you in moving forward.
