About
Hi, I’m Dr. Stephanie Rosado, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a neuropsychologist based in Miami, Florida, and licensed in the state of Florida. I specialize in autism and neurodevelopmental evaluations, which is an area I am deeply passionate about. Many of the adults I work with come to me after years of wondering why certain things have always felt different or why they have had to work harder to navigate everyday experiences. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable exploring those questions without judgment. As a neuropsychologist, I take a comprehensive approach to understanding how your brain works, including your strengths, communication style, sensory experiences, and executive functioning. I believe that this process is about more than diagnosis. It is about helping you gain clarity, validation, and a deeper understanding of yourself. My hope is that you leave the experience feeling empowered and more confident in who you are.
My passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent adults developed through both my training and clinical experience. I found myself consistently drawn to individuals who had spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood or unsure why things felt different for them. Being able to help someone connect the dots and better understand their experiences is incredibly meaningful to me. I am especially interested in the many ways autism can present in adulthood, including individuals who have masked their differences or whose traits may have been more subtle earlier in life. My doctoral research focused on autism presentations, and I have continued to pursue advanced training in neuropsychology and neurodevelopmental assessment. I am continually inspired by the insight, resilience, and strengths of the neurodivergent community. I feel honored to support individuals as they gain clarity and move forward with greater confidence and self understanding.
My approach is neurodiversity affirming, collaborative, and strengths based. I believe that autism and neurodevelopmental differences are meaningful parts of who you are and deserve to be understood within the context of your strengths. During the evaluation process, I focus not only on challenges, but also on identifying what you do well and how your brain works best. I aim to make the assessment experience feel relaxed and approachable, especially if you are feeling unsure or nervous about the process. I prioritize creating a comfortable space where you can be yourself and share openly. My goal is for you to walk away with meaningful insights, practical recommendations, and a deeper understanding of your unique profile. Above all, I want the experience to feel validating, empowering, and supportive.
