About
Dr. Campbell believes that exceptional care begins with truly understanding the whole person — not just symptoms or diagnoses. With a compassionate, whole-mind approach to treatment, Dr. Campbell is dedicated to helping patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. By combining evidence-based care with genuine human connection, Dr. Campbell creates a space where patients can openly explore their challenges, strengths, and goals.
A resident of Virginia, Dr. Campbell is licensed to practice in both Virginia and New York, providing thoughtful, patient-centered care to individuals across both states. Drawing from a strong clinical background and a deep commitment to emotional wellness, Dr. Campbell approaches each patient with warmth, curiosity, and respect for their unique life experiences.
Dr. Campbell’s passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals comes from a deep belief that differences in thinking, feeling, communicating, and experiencing the world should be understood — not “fixed.” Throughout clinical training and professional experience, Dr. Campbell recognized how often neurodivergent individuals are misunderstood, overlooked, or expected to fit into systems that were not designed with them in mind. That realization inspired a commitment to providing care that is affirming, respectful, and centered on each person’s unique strengths and needs.
Dr. Campbell is especially passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where autistic and neurodivergent clients can feel genuinely seen and accepted without pressure to mask who they are. By taking a whole-mind approach to care, Dr. Campbell focuses not only on challenges such as anxiety, burnout, executive functioning difficulties, or social stressors, but also on helping clients build self-understanding, confidence, balance, and meaningful quality of life.
At the heart of this work is the belief that compassionate mental health care begins with listening, validating lived experiences, and partnering with clients in a way that honors their individuality and autonomy.
Dr. Campbell approaches care from a strengths-based, neuroaffirming perspective that recognizes every individual brings unique abilities, insights, and ways of experiencing the world. Rather than focusing solely on challenges or deficits, Dr. Campbell works collaboratively with clients to identify and build upon their existing strengths, values, and personal goals. Care is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s individuality.
Through a whole-mind approach, Dr. Campbell helps clients better understand themselves, develop practical tools that support daily life, and cultivate confidence in navigating relationships, work, school, and personal growth. Sessions are designed to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where clients feel safe to unmask, process experiences openly, and explore strategies that genuinely work for them — not simply what society expects of them.
Dr. Campbell is committed to helping autistic and neurodivergent individuals recognize their capabilities, embrace their identities, and move toward lives that feel authentic, balanced, and fulfilling. The goal is not to change who someone is, but to support them in thriving as their fullest, most empowered self.
