About
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with many years of experience helping adults navigate life's challenges. My approach is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs, emphasizing self-understanding, personal strengths, and meaningful change. I believe each person has a unique story, and I'm passionate about helping people discover their strengths, embrace their individuality, and build lives that reflect their values and goals.
I've always been interested in understanding the different ways people experience and navigate the world. I'm especially drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals because I believe everyone deserves to feel understood, accepted, and valued for who they are. I recognize how exhausting it can be to navigate a world that doesn't always accommodate different ways of thinking, feeling, and communicating. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and develop ways of living that feel authentic and meaningful to them.
I believe everyone has unique strengths, abilities, and perspectives that deserve to be recognized and valued. My approach is grounded in compassion, acceptance, and respect for each person's individuality. Rather than focusing solely on challenges or limitations, I work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, build self-awareness, and develop strategies that work for them. I draw from person-centered therapy, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, adapting my approach to each individual's needs. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, embrace their authentic selves, and create meaningful changes without feeling pressured to fit someone else's expectations.
