About

Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Sharon Bolden. I currently reside in Baltimore and am licensed in Maryland. I have worked with individuals for over 20 years who are addressing gambling disorders, substance use disorders, and mental health challenges. I believe in autonomy of the client and strive to help you see the person that you want to become. My goals is to walk with you on your path towards your personal goals. I use a person-centered approach to each individual and will treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve. I am committed to work with you not for you. I can only guide you where you chose to go.

Education & Licensure
Psy.D in grief counseling from Breyer University, Florida. MS degree from Capella University, MN. BS degree from Graceland University, IA
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I have worked with many individuals who have been diagnosed with neurodivergent diagnosis. I believe that individuals who are autistic are sometimes left behind or not understood in the mental health community when they are seeking services. My goal is to enhance your quality of life and work with you towards a different tomorrow. Together, we can work toward a life where you feel understood, and able to thrive.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I use a person-centered approach to ensure that each individual receives what they identify as their needs. I believe that every person has their own strengths and challenges which requires a unique approach. I will actively listen to gain an understanding of your needs and will ensure that I create a safe space where you can express yourself authentically.
