Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

To me, each person as beautifully unique, and I have never been one to see disability.  Rather, I have always seen uniquenesses as different abilities. It makes my heart sing to give people - especially those who can often be misunderstood - space to be truly heard and deeply valued. I work with clients to identify, celebrate and build on their strengths.  Together, we learn and practice skills that help people negotiate life with greater ease and success.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is to seek first to truly understand each person's perspective, experiences, feelings and goals.  Then, we work together - at the pace that works for each person - to build on strengths to make life better between appointments.
