About
Greetings! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Sarah Nolan and I’m a licensed psychologist primarily based in Wisconsin, with active licenses in Wisconsin and New York. I am passionate about working with individuals to help them increase their understanding of themselves and grow in the ways that feel best to them. As a clinician, I believe that my primary role is to create a warm and safe environment that allows my clients to feel supported in their journey. I also believe in meeting my clients where they are, we are all individuals on our own journey, and I am honored to join my clients on theirs.
My motivation for working with autistic adults comes from over a decade of experience working with a range of adults and an understanding that the autistic community is one full of resilience, diversity, creativity, and a need for increased understanding, advocacy, and support. In my work, I aim to help my clients learn more about their strengths and the ways in which they can use their strengths to navigate life’s challenges and work towards living the lives they want to live.
In my clinical work, my priority is creating a space that offers genuine support and makes clients feel clearly seen and understood. I believe that my role is to help facilitate my client’s development and growth and I do this by taking an interpersonal approach which includes actively listening, directly reflecting on what I hear you saying, and helping you understand the ways you can enhance your experience in the world.
